Hey everyone,
First, we’re sorry that we don't have much for you in terms of progress with this update.
We have recently gone through a major layoff here at BAM HQ. Unfortunately, the projects we have done were not successful enough to keep the team we had for very long. The layoffs hurt and we are hoping that we can recover sooner than later to reacquire as much of our team as possible.
With that said, we are delaying delivery of this project until Q1 2024. We think that will give enough time to get through the sampling we need, back and forth for quality control, and to bypass the immense holiday shipping rate spikes. We know this is not news anyone wants to hear, however it's important that we tell you now to set new expectations and move forward.
We’ll make sure to provide an update to everyone every two weeks going forward, even if we don’t have anything particularly interesting to share. We are working on more consistent communication as it will help get through these delays and rough times.
We are looking forward to getting our samples done and sharing them with you. We are just as excited about this as all of you, and we are just as frustrated with having to delay this project.
We have limited bandwidth currently and will not be on KS too much, as those of us who remain will be heads down working. If you have any questions/concerns in the meantime, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
We are deeply sorry for this delay, but we feel it's a better estimate of the time needed to finish this project. Thank you all for sticking with us and for the support.

Hello BAM Fam!
I just wanted to pop in and give everyone a quick update on where we are at on our manufacturing phase of Forged!
As we entered the early phases of steel moldmaking with our factory partner overseas, we were running into some quality issues that have led to a partial redesign of many of our sculpts sent over at the close of the campaign. No major design changes are occurring, more like tiny tweaks in poses, texture scales, etc. to better work with the steel milling process.
So, we've been working on many of those changes to ensure our molds produce the best possible parts and match our SioCast and 3D printed miniatures we produce at BAM HQ.
Once we're through this set up phase, the rest of production goes very quickly, luckily. As soon as we have finished samples to show, we'll post the photos here!
On a side note: we're trying to have our brand new Broken Anvil Studio Paint line deliver before Forged does so backers can have their paint at the ready for all those minis coming your way. Some of you backed us during the campaign (thank you!!) but if you missed out, we'll be holding a Late Pledge period from June 9th 2023 through June 23rd 2023. You'll get the same deep intro discounts featured on Kickstarter!

Edit: While our team has addressed all Help tickets regarding this campaign, it seems like there are still folks who have not received their links when they should have. The only way we can bypass whatever segment errors are happening, we're going to send out links to ALL backers of each STL bundle, even if links have been sent before. As for MMF STL delivery, we are working on making that happen, but I can't guarantee it any time soon. In the meantime if you'd like to get printing right away, the WeTransfer link we've provided via email will let you do so.
Speaking of STLs, we'll also be sending out another round of links this week to any folks who haven't received them yet. The batch delivery via BackerKit hasn't been able to keep up with the smattering of order adjustments as quickly as they've been made. So, if you're still waiting on your links, you should receive those shortly!

Hey there Adventurers!
We've got the STL bundles for the Adventure Box and Stretch Goals all packed up and ready to go. We're uploading them to WeTransfer for delivery as we speak, and we'll be sending those links to all the backers who are paid up on their survey and locked in at this time via email later today.
If you're still working on your survey, or are working with me and the Help Team on adjusting/troubleshooting your order, don't worry! We'll continue updating our lists and sending more links out next week as well.
As for the added STL bundles, like the Demon Expansion, Orc Camp Expansion, and Dungeon Delvers Bundles, we'll be sending those links early next week. They are particularly slow to upload to the cloud at the moment (despite being smaller than the Adventure Box and Stretch Goal files??) and I'm not confident they'll be all uploaded in time for delivery today. If I manage to get them sorted though, I'll send them along as well!
